🧬 Product Variations

Variations allow you to sell the same product in different options, such as size, color, material, or other attributes.

Vendora supports creating Variable Products that include multiple variations under one product listing.

🎨 What Are Variations?​

Variations are combinations of attributes applied to a product. For example:

T-Shirt

  • Attribute 1: Size (S, M, L)
  • Attribute 2: Color (Red, Blue, Green)

This will generate 9 variations (S-Red, M-Red, ..., L-Green).

🛠️ Creating Variations​

  1. Go to Products → Add Product
  2. Choose Product Type: Variable
  3. Scroll to the Variation section

➕ Step 1: Add Attributes​

  1. Click Add next to the attribute (e.g. Size, Color)
  2. Enter the values separated by commas:
    S, M, L or Red, Blue
  3. Click Save Attributes

🔄 Step 2: Generate Variations​

After adding attributes:

  1. Click Add Variations
  2. Vendora will automatically generate all possible combinations
  3. You can edit each variation individually:
    • SKU
    • Barcode
    • Purchase price
    • Selling price
    • Stock quantity
    • Image (optional)

🧮 Managing Variation Inventory​

Each variation has its own inventory and price:

  • When a customer selects a variant on your POS or website, it deducts only that specific item's stock.
  • You can manage variation-level stock in Products → List Products → Variations

🖼️ Variation Images​

You can upload different images for each variation (e.g. show a red shirt for the "Red" variation).

🗂️ Variation List​

To view or edit all existing variations:

  • Go to Products → List Products
  • Click Edit on a variable product
  • Scroll to the Variations section

🧠 Tips​

  • Use clear attribute names and consistent values
  • Assign unique SKUs for each variation if you manage stock separately
  • Use variation images to improve visual clarity for online sales

Vendora's variation system is ideal for businesses selling fashion, electronics, cosmetics, or anything with multiple options under one product.
