🛒 Sales Module

The Sales module in Vendora allows you to manage retail and POS transactions with speed and flexibility. It’s designed for both single-store and multi-store businesses with real-time inventory and customer tracking.

🧾 Types of Sales​

Vendora supports three types of sales:

  1. POS Sale

    • Quick billing interface (ideal for front-desk)
    • Auto prints invoice (thermal or A4)
    • Accepts multiple payment methods

  2. Regular Sale

    • Traditional invoice with detailed entries
    • Used for B2B sales, quotations, or delayed fulfillment

  3. Dine-in Sales (Restaurant module)

    • Includes table mapping, kitchen view, and order splits

📦 Creating a New Sale (POS or Regular)​

  1. Go to Sales → POS or Sales → Add Sale
  2. Select:
    • Customer
    • Location
    • Products or Services
  3. Set:
    • Discounts (Line item or total)
    • Taxes
    • Shipping charges
  4. Choose Payment Method(s)
    • Cash, card, bank transfer, etc.
    • Split payments supported
  5. Click Save or Print Invoice

🧾 Sales List & Actions​

Navigate to Sales → List Sales to view all past transactions.

Actions available:

  • Edit (if permissions allow)
  • View Invoice
  • Add Payment (for partial/unpaid invoices)
  • Print/Email Invoice
  • Void/Delete

🧮 Payment Management​

Every sale can have multiple payments:

  • Payments are recorded in Payment Accounts
  • Overdue payments are visible in Reports → Customer Due Report
  • Partial payments are tracked and visible per invoice

📦 Sales Return​

  1. Go to Sales → List Sales
  2. Find the invoice and click “Return”
  3. Returned items are added back to inventory
  4. Refunds are processed (cash or wallet)

🏷️ Discounts & Coupons​

  • Apply percentage or fixed discount per product or invoice
  • You can also create discount campaigns under Settings → Discounts

📈 Reports for Sales​

Check detailed insights from:

  • Sales Report (by date, location, user)
  • Product-wise Sales
  • Customer-wise Sales
  • Profit/Loss Report

  • Use barcode scanner in POS for fast entry
  • Define default printer settings in your user profile
  • Customize invoices from Invoice Layouts in Settings
