🔁 Stock Transfer
The Stock Transfer module in Vendora allows you to seamlessly move stock between different business locations or warehouses. It ensures accurate inventory levels and maintains clear records of stock movement.
🚛 When to Use Stock Transfer
- You manage multiple stores or warehouses
- You need to move items from main storage to a branch
- You want to track in-transit inventory
- You need a record of internal logistics
🔄 Creating a New Stock Transfer
- Navigate to Stock → Stock Transfers
- Click Add
- Fill in:
- Transaction Date
- Location (From) – where stock is taken from
- Location (To) – where stock is delivered
- Reference Number (auto or manual)
- Add Products
- You can scan or search products
- Set the quantity to transfer
- Add Shipping Charges (optional)
- Add Notes (optional)
- Click Save
🧾 Stock Transfer Statuses
Each transfer has a status:
- Pending: Not yet shipped
- In Transit: Marked as shipped, but not received
- Completed: Received by destination location
🚚 Marking Transfer as Shipped or Received
- After saving a transfer:
- Click Mark as Shipped to move to In Transit
- Then the receiving location can click Mark as Received to complete the process
This keeps both sender and receiver in sync and prevents errors in inventory.
🔍 Viewing Stock Transfers
- Go to Stock → Stock Transfers
- View list of all transfers with filters:
- Date range
- From/To Locations
- Status
- Click any transfer to view or update it
📦 Inventory Impact
- Source location’s stock is reduced immediately when transfer is marked shipped
- Destination stock is increased when marked received
- Helps maintain real-time stock accuracy across branches
📝 Transfer Notes
- You can attach notes for internal team communication
- These notes can help drivers, warehouse staff, or branch managers
📌 Tips
- Always mark transfers as received to avoid stock mismatches
- Enable notifications for branch staff to act on incoming transfers
- Use Transfer Reports under Reports → Stock Transfer Report
