Loyalty Cards

Vendora’s Loyalty Card feature helps you build customer loyalty by offering points-based rewards for purchases. It encourages repeat purchases and improves customer retention.


🏷️ What is a Loyalty Card?

A loyalty card is assigned to a customer. Each time the customer makes a qualifying purchase, they earn points based on rules you define. These points can later be redeemed for discounts or rewards.


➕ Adding a Loyalty Card Program

  1. Go to Contact Management > Loyalty Cards.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Fill in the following details:
    • Card Name
    • Business Location (optional)
    • Points per Purchase (e.g. 1 point per 10 EGP spent)
    • Redemption Rules (e.g. 100 points = 10 EGP discount)
    • Validity Period (optional)
  4. Save.

👤 Assigning Cards to Customers

Once a program is created:

  • Go to Contact Management > Customers.
  • Edit the desired customer.
  • Assign a Loyalty Card from the dropdown.

Each customer can only be assigned one loyalty card at a time.


💰 Earning Points

Points are earned based on the configuration:

  • Points apply on each final sale amount.
  • Automatically calculated and added after checkout.
  • Customers can view their point balance on printed invoices or receipts.

🎁 Redeeming Points

During checkout:

  • If a customer has redeemable points, a redemption option will appear.
  • Enter the number of points to redeem.
  • The discount will apply to the final invoice.

You can set:

  • Minimum points required for redemption
  • Maximum discount per transaction

🧾 Loyalty History

To check point history:

  • Go to Loyalty Cards.
  • Click on View Details beside a card.
  • See a list of customers, their current balance, and transactions.

🔒 Important Notes

  • Loyalty points do not apply to returns or cancelled invoices.
  • Expired points (if set) will be removed automatically.
  • Points are non-transferable between customers.
