🛍️ Product Management

Managing products is a core part of Vendora. This includes adding new products, setting variations, stock levels, pricing, and categories.

➕ Adding a New Product​

  1. Go to Products → Add Product

  2. Choose Product Type:

    • Single: One unit with no variation
    • Variable: Size, color, or other variations
    • Combo: Bundle of other products

  3. Fill in the details:

    • Product Name
    • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)
    • Brand (optional)
    • Category / Sub-category
    • Unit (e.g. pcs, kg)
    • Barcode Type (optional)

  4. Set Pricing:

    • Default Purchase Price
    • Selling Price (inclusive or exclusive of tax)
    • Discounted price (optional)
    • Tax and applicable tax rates

  5. Define Inventory settings:

    • Alert quantity (minimum stock level)
    • Enable stock tracking (optional)

  6. Upload Product Image (optional)

  7. Click Save

🧬 Variable Products​

If your product has multiple sizes, colors, or configurations:

  1. Choose Variable Product
  2. Define Attributes (e.g. Size: S, M, L)
  3. Click Add Variations
  4. Set individual SKUs, barcodes, and pricing for each variation

📦 Combo Products (Bundles)​

Combo products allow you to sell a group of products as one:

  1. Choose Combo Product
  2. Select the individual products included
  3. Define the quantity of each item in the combo
  4. Set a selling price for the bundle

🗂️ Product Categories​

Organize your inventory by category.

  • Go to Products → Categories
  • Add a new category or sub-category
  • Categories help filter products and simplify navigation

🏷️ Product Brands​

Brands are optional but useful for filtering or reporting.

  • Go to Products → Brands
  • Add brand name and logo (optional)

📊 Product List View​

  • Navigate to Products → List Products
  • View product details like SKU, stock, price, and status
  • Use filters to search by category, brand, type, or status
  • Export product list in Excel or CSV

🧮 Stock Adjustment​

To correct stock manually:

  1. Go to Stock Adjustment
  2. Select the business location
  3. Choose the product and enter adjusted quantity
  4. Add reason for adjustment (optional)

🔄 Update Products in Bulk​

  1. Go to Products → Import Products
  2. Download the sample Excel
  3. Update prices, stock, etc.
  4. Re-import using the file

🧠 Tips​

  • Use unique SKUs for easy tracking
  • Use alert quantities to get stock notifications
  • Enable lot numbers and expiry for perishable goods
  • Add warranty and custom fields if needed
