Running a café, restaurant, or food truck? Vendora's Restaurant Module transforms your POS into a smart order and table management system — perfect for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.
📋 Key Features
- Table management with real-time occupancy
- Kitchen orders and printing (KOT)
- Split bills and merged orders
- Order types: Dine-in, Takeaway, Delivery
- Kitchen display screen (KDS) support
- Order modifiers (e.g. “Extra cheese”)
🪑 Set Up Tables & Service Areas
- Go to Settings → Tables
- Click Add Table
- Name your table (e.g. "T1", "VIP 2")
- Assign to a Service Area (e.g. "Indoor", "Terrace")
Service areas help group tables visually.
🛒 Take an Order
- From the POS screen, choose:
- Order Type (Dine-in, Takeaway, Delivery)
- Table (if Dine-in)
- Add items to the order
- You can hold orders or send directly to the kitchen
🍳 Kitchen Orders (KOT)
- When an order is placed, a KOT print is generated for the kitchen
- KOTs include item notes/modifiers (e.g. “No onions”)
- Configure your printer in Settings → Receipt Printers
Optional: You can connect Vendora with a Kitchen Display Screen (KDS) if supported.
🔀 Merge & Split Orders
- Merge: Join two tables' orders (great when groups join)
- Split: Divide bills by item or number of people
Useful for group dining and shared tables.
🧾 Print Bills & Receipts
You can:
- Print Pre-Bills before payment
- Print Receipts after payment
- Configure formats and footer notes in Settings → Invoice Layout
🏍️ Delivery & Takeaway
Vendora supports takeaway and delivery:
- Select order type on POS
- Enter customer info if needed
- Assign a Delivery Person (optional)
- Track status and delivery time
🧠 Pro Tips
- Use colors to show table status: Occupied, Vacant, Pending
- Assign custom modifiers (e.g. “Spicy Level”) for food variations
- Enable notifications for new kitchen orders
